 FESTIVAL INFORMATION

  • Gates will open Thursday morning at 10 a.m.

  • Rough camping included with your ticket begins THURSDAY and goes to Monday afternoon.

    • Rough camping is first come first serve. There are a number of shady tree lined sites, as well as field camping.​

  • Please note that any additional days may be subject to camping fees by the Wildlife Campground.

  • Wristbands must be worn at all times. We are not responsible for lost wristbands.

  • If you wish to reserve a water/electric site for an additional fee of (this does NOT include festival admission) please call The Wildlife Campground at 715-449-3617. These are limited. 

  • Children 12 and under are free.

  • There will be a variety of festival food vendors offering a wide assortment of sustenance.

  • Pets are allowed but they MUST BE LEASHED and kept under control at all times, EVEN GOOD DOGS....

    • Pick up after your pet.

    • PLEASE ABIDE by this policy so we can continue to invite our furry friends in the future...

  • ALL campground rules must be observed.

  • Beer, mixed drinks, ice and pizzas are served in the Wildlife Refuge Bar.

  • Carry In's are allowed (NO GLASS).

  • No glass containers, golf carts, or fires allowed in the festival bowl.

  • No fireworks or weapons.

  • Security staff will be monitoring the festival and reserve the right to remove your wristband. 

  • RULES OF CAMPGROUND

    • 5 M.P.H. speed limit

    • No ATV or UTV's

    • Do not cut or remove trees

    • NO FIREWORKS

    • Swimming Beach Hours are 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

    • Please keep the beach area clean so we may continue to enjoy it's wonderful refreshingness.

    • Dogs are permitted to take a dip at the boat landing only. NO DOGS are allowed at the beach.

  • Campground Amenities include​

    • Heated showers

    • Swimming beach

    • Fishing

    • Boat landing

    • Snowmobile trails

    • Hiking trails

    • Golf course nearby (15 minutes)

    • 1/2 mile of shoreline on Mayflower Lake

    •  Fire rings, firewood and ice.

  • WEATHER POLICY: RAIN OR SHINE JACKPINE!!!

DIRECTIONS

The Wildlife Campground is located a short ways east of Wausau, Wisconsin just outside of Birnamwood.  If you're coming from Wausau, travel 18 miles east on Hwy 29.  Go 5 miles north (left) on Hwy D.  Turn left on Schwede Lane into the campground (it is a long dead end road).
